This Privacy Policy explains how Deep Target ("Deep Target", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit deeptarget.app, create an account or use the Deep Target platform (the "Service"). We operate from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and we handle personal data in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL") and the other laws of the United Arab Emirates that apply to us.
1. Who this policy covers
- Visitors to our website.
- Customers and users: the businesses and people who sign up for and use the Service.
- Business contacts: people whose business contact details are found, kept or contacted through the Service.
2. Our role
For the data of visitors, customers and users, Deep Target decides how and why the data is used: we are the controller.
When a customer uses the Service to find, research and contact business leads, the customer decides whom to contact and what to send. For that data we act on the customer's instructions, as a processor, and the customer is responsible for having a lawful basis for its outreach.
Business contact details that Deep Target gathers from public sources and keeps in its own database are handled by us as controller.
3. The personal data we collect
Data you give us
- Account details: name, e-mail address, company, password (kept only as a one-way hash), language and time zone.
- Settings you add: target markets, products and services, campaign goals, signatures and message templates.
- Connected accounts: the addresses and connection details of the mailboxes (Microsoft 365, Gmail and other e-mail services), WhatsApp Business account (through WOZTELL), CRM and other tools you connect. Passwords, keys and tokens are stored encrypted.
- Messages you send us, for example through the contact options on the website or to support.
Data created when you use the Service
- The leads and contacts you import or that the Service finds for you, the research and messages written for them, and the history of sends, replies, bounces and opt-outs.
- Billing records: plan, amounts, dates and the payment status that Stripe or PayPal reports to us. We never receive or store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, the pages and features used, log entries and error reports, kept to run, secure and improve the Service.
Business contact data from public sources
To build lead lists, the Service collects business information that is publicly available, such as company websites, business directories, map listings and professional pages. This can include a person's name, job title, company, business e-mail address, business phone number and the public pages linked to the company. We do not set out to collect sensitive personal data (such as health, religious or biometric data), and we do not use private sources.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only what the website and the app need to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and settings, and keeping the Service secure. We do not use advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
4. How we use personal data
- To provide the Service: open and run your account, find and research leads, write and send messages from the mailboxes and accounts you connect, and report the results.
- To take payments and keep accounting records.
- To keep the Service secure: prevent fraud, abuse, spam and attacks, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To support you and send service messages, for example about your account, billing or important changes.
- To improve the Service, including by studying how it is used, in aggregate.
- To comply with the law, answer lawful requests from the authorities, and establish or defend legal claims.
We rely on these grounds: performing our contract with you; your consent, where we ask for it; our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving a business-to-business service; and our legal obligations.
5. Artificial intelligence
The Service uses AI models to research companies and to draft messages. To do this, the business information a task needs (for example a company's public description and your campaign settings) is sent to an AI provider such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek or Mistral, which processes it to return a result under its business terms. Deep Target does not use your data to train AI models. AI output can contain mistakes, so review messages before they are sent where your settings allow it.
6. Who we share personal data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it: hosting providers, AI providers, e-mail and messaging providers (including Microsoft, Google, and WOZTELL and Meta for WhatsApp), and payment providers (Stripe and PayPal).
- The services you connect: when you link a mailbox, CRM or other tool, we exchange data with it on your instructions.
- The recipients of your outreach: the messages you send through the Service reach the business contacts you choose.
- Authorities and advisers: where the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or with our professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.
- A buyer or successor, if Deep Target is reorganised, merged or sold, under the same protections.
7. Transfers outside the UAE
Some of our providers store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates. When we transfer personal data abroad, we do so as the PDPL allows: to countries with an adequate level of protection, or under contractual safeguards that require the recipient to protect the data to a standard comparable to UAE law.
8. How long we keep data
- Account data: while your account is open, and up to 12 months after it is closed, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Leads, messages and campaign history: until you delete them or close your account. Opt-out records are kept for as long as needed so that the person is not contacted again.
- Billing records: as long as UAE tax and commercial laws require, generally at least 5 years.
- Logs: up to 12 months, unless needed longer to investigate a security issue.
9. Security
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures that suit the risk, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encryption of stored passwords, keys and tokens, access controls and monitoring. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authority as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under the PDPL and the other laws that apply to you, you can ask us to:
- give you access to the personal data we hold about you, and information about how we use it;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict or stop its processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it;
- stop using your data for direct marketing, and not subject you to automated decisions that significantly affect you;
- give you your data in a structured, commonly used format, where technically possible.
To use these rights, write to info@deeptarget.app. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.
11. If your details are in our lead data
A message sent through Deep Target comes from one of our customers, who is named in the message. To stop messages from that sender, use the opt-out link or reply as the message explains.
To ask Deep Target to delete your business contact details from our own database and add you to our do-not-contact list, write to info@deeptarget.app from the address concerned. We will act within 30 days.
12. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell customers by e-mail or in the app before it takes effect.
